Rebekah started standing on her own when she was 8 months old. We knew that her excitement to keep up with Caleb and Meagan would be strong motivation to get moving! Sure enough, by 10 months old, she was taking a couple of steps and practicing all the time. Then just a week ago, she started walking more than crawling and toddling around everywhere.
You can tell that she is quite proud of herself for learning how to move around like the rest of us. The only unfortunate side effect that comes from walking is a leap straight to toddlerhood. With an adorable gleam in her eye, she often makes a beeline for anything that can be emptied, unrolled, unwrapped or rearranged. Although this makes our house busier and messier, she sure does make a charming addition to the tupperware cupboard!
