Caleb has discovered that Rebekah can be a lot of fun. He figured out that he can get this teething ring to stay on her head by putting it around her pigtails. They shared many giggles over it.
Ryan celebrated his 31st birthday last week. His new skill? Growing gray hair. In his defense, there isn't a lot of it. But, it's still fun to tease him.
Rebekah also learned to take a bath big girl style. It's pretty funny to see her face as she gets used to slip sliding around.
And a self-portrait of the clean lady and her momma.
Just a couple of days ago we attended the kids' open house at school. Meagan was so pumped to show us all the things they have been doing. She was literally jumping with excitement on the way to her classroom. Her teacher Ms Ekstrom posed with Meagan. (Picture compliments of Ryan's new blackberry.)
Then we headed over to Caleb's room. It's surreal to see how mature he is becoming. He welcomed us into his classroom and then offered a narrated tour of everything. Very grown up. He was the most excited to show us the classroom story books.
On a side note: this week Rebekah has finally settled on a profession. At least she couldn't get enough of this universal drive adapter box.
And for the final learning and growing of the week... Rebekah is learning to crawl (reverse only) and growing her first tooth. We experienced our first grumpy Rebekah and it was sad (very very sad). Luckily, she is totally distracted by her new ability to move and so she really doesn't care that there is a new, sharp, hard thing in her mouth.
The (for real) last thing of the week: Meagan got a special trip to Urgent Care last night to have her arm x-rayed. Let's just say that wagons were meant to have sides and concrete is not kind to arms. Luckily, we left without a cast and Meagan got the special treat of staying up past her bedtime and watching DTV in her exam room. I'm sure that made the whole experience worth it for her!

That was epic. Personally, I love the self portrait with Rebekah. I mostly love self portraits anyway if you couldn't tell. And thank heavens no sick summer cast for Megan. HOORAY!

Love those quick past bed time trips to urgent care. So glad it's not broken. Sounds like she learned a good trick tho! Fun week minus the earwig. I think I found something in the carton the other day but flipped it out of sight and gone before I could think about it! Ewww Gross is right!
