We're Dreaming of a White Christmas!

Early in the week, Ryan came up with a really fun idea to head up to the snow on Christmas Eve. We decided that the kids will be full of crazy energy anyway and why worry about all the last minute things that need to be done? So, I called my mom and told her that I would swap my baby for her 3 other kids and off we went. We headed up to Flagstaff (the San Francisco Peaks above) and enjoyed the fresh snow from the day before.
Here's Ryan and I just finishing a run -- I'll admit that it was on the smaller hill!

My brother Brian showed Caleb the fun of the big hill. Notice Caleb's eyes shut tight!

Toward the end, Meagan and Caleb both got brave and went down on their own. It was great for Ryan who just waited at the top of the hill while the kids hiked up the mountain and slid down over and over again.

Um... yeah we ate a little snow too! We had a wonderful time -- everything was beautiful from all the fresh snow and it really did feel like Christmas. We definately want to make this a new tradition -- next year we'll introduce Rebekah to the snow!

That looks like so much fun! We might have to take a trip up with the girls!
