Pictures curtesy of my phone

These posts are some of my favorites.

They capture a slice of life for our family.
The moments that happen unplanned when the real camera is stowed away.

The clothes aren't matching and the girl's hair is decidedly casual,
but the experience is genuine and unfiltered and I love that.

Without further ado, the pictures from my phone December 22 - February 8th.

Our first stop is the McCormick Train Park the Saturday before Christmas.

Then bowling with cousins the 2nd day of the new year.

Followed by a visit to Grandma Fuko's house.
She insisted we bring her baby and dog and that they must be buckled for the short drive.

Then a self-portrait at the Zoo just days before school was due to begin again after the winter break.

Back on routine after the winter holidays, I asked Bekah to get her gym gear on.
And I loved that she showed up in my bathroom wearing this:

The following Saturday we went to the Phoenix Children's Museum
on the same day everyone else in the Valley decided to go.
It was ridiculously crowded.

But, Meagan and I managed to find a corner that no one else cared about.

Next, we had a super fancy sonic celebration
after I attended parent-teacher conferences and all the kids got great teacher reports.

Random snuggling before bed

Riding the tandem bike with Bekah to the neighborhood park

Meagan attending her first American Girl party

And some goofy self-portraits with Bekah.

At Caleb's very first court of honor.
We now have a Tenderfoot in the family.

Rebekah burrowing into a pile of freshly washed (and still warm!)
blankets after bath time.

And, last but not least, Rebekah posing with her minion
freshly obtained from a garage sale by her brother.
He spotted it while doing a scout service project
and rode his bike home to get his own money to buy it for her.
Lucky little sister indeed!
