It's hard work to get the entire family ready for pictures. Usually, by the time you finish getting the last person ready, the toddler has undone her hair and at least one other kid has eaten something and spilled on his clothes.
But, every once in a while, the sacrifice must be made.
In our family, it was because in our last family picture Rebekah was only 3 months old. Now that she is older, the entire flavor of our family has changed and it's brilliant to capture that.
Luckily the entire process was made much less painful by an army of friends. One to do my hair, one to entertain the kids and one to take these amazing pictures. Which I adore.
