Being a mom is funny because things like birthdays now make me sentimental.
I can't help but think of this...
Remembering the miracle that brought Rebekah to our family
The pure joy.
The pure joy.
And all that hair!
Fast forward 4 years and we have a cute, happy-by-nature girl
that would put the Energizer Bunny to shame.
She loves bright colors, Despicable Me, Toy Story, being in charge of the dog,
helping in the kitchen, doing everything independently
and most recently she has added baby dolls and Hello Kitty to her list of favorites.
But the thing that brings her the most pleasure each day?
Greeting each family member as they come home each day.
She absolutely can't wait until it's time to go pick up her brother and sister from school
and she cranes her neck in the car until she spots one of them walking toward us.
and she cranes her neck in the car until she spots one of them walking toward us.
Then, with her voice full of excitement, she will call out "I see them mom!".
And I'm pretty sure the neighbors hear her squeal of delight when she hears the garage door open
signaling that daddy has returned home for the day.
Here is a little peek at what a Bekah birthday looks like:
Love my Bekah girl.
