The Lazy Days of Summer

This is our summer.
In pictures.

Most from my phone and some from my camera.
A little slice of what we did all summer.

Bekah watched dad leave for work every morning.

And constantly grabbed her sister's ipod to listen to music.

We learned how to do lanyards.

And found chairs for $3.

The girls got "cold" in the pool and had to warm up.

We fed live crickets to our bearded dragon.

And went to swim meets

We went camping

And got dressed up for everyday errands

Sometimes forgetting key parts of our wardrobe

And the trip to the scout store required extra special attire.

Caleb learned the basics of playing on the organ

And both Caleb and Meagan learned to sew clothes

We sweltered in the hot hot sun.

Ryan and I went to a Dbacks vs Dodgers game.
Where I might have accidentally cheered when the Dodgers got a home run.

Meagan got her ears pierced

And our pool got emptied and filled with fresh water.

Bekah danced

And posed

And hammed it up with me

We went "back to school" shopping

And we built forts at the Phoenix Children's Museum.

We taught the cub scouts how to care for a car

And got a free car wash out of it.

We watched movies with friends

And convinced dad to swim in the pool after work

And we swam while dad was at work too.

We taught Rebekah how to use Starfall on the computer

We read books and practiced piano

We danced

And swam some more

Then we started 4th grade and 5th grade

And preschool.

And I had a birthday.

And that about sums up our summer.
