Just Bragging a Little

I've got this really great kid.

He's smart and thoughtful.

And quite handsome.

And he knows how to tickle the ivories.

Most people have something that just comes easily to them.

For Caleb, that's playing the piano.

He's got a natural ability to not only learn the technical side of playing the piano

but also the creative side of composition and improvisation.

For the last 18 months, he has been studying with Miss Kenzie.

She has really seen his potential and helped him to grow.

We recently found out that she will be moving to Boston to pursue her own music dreams,

and while we are excited for her bright future, we are sad to see this great relationship parted.

We are thankful for the great foundation she has given him.

She has developed a genuine friendship with Caleb.

And has fully embraced all of his quirks.

I will always be thankful that she took the time to really see my boy.

And to be part of our village for a season.

This evening, we gathered at the Mesa Arts Center.

Where we listened to Caleb perform on the professional stage

and celebrated his achievements.
