So far

May has taught me some interesting things:

Never try to catch two 25 pound watermelons as they are falling from the heap. You will get hurt.

My second grader can create a more sophisticated Power Point presentation that me

Rebekah can learn to monkey walk around the pool even if she cries during her swim lesson

Jet lag is harsh

Freshly made curtains make me smile every time I walk in the room

You can keep a room of 15 kids completely amused with glue, buttons, sequins, lace and paper

Passing out is completely fascinating

Being hungry + shopping at Costco = a LONG receipt

Meagan looks quite fetching in her dance costumes

Belly buttons are the perfect place for toddler fingers

Reusable swim diapers become disposable when poop is involved

Sewing is only fun when you cut the fabric correctly

People really do go out in public covered in bright green lycra from scalp to toes

Running over the freeway doesn't have to be ghetto

Laughing makes everything at least a little bit better

A good babysitter can save your sanity

I still really love spending time with my husband... a lot
